Actress and fitness enthusiast Disha Patani - who was last seen in Mohit Suri’s actioner Ek Villain Returns alongside Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria - on Friday took to her social media to wish global icon Jackie Chan on his 69th birthday. Disha worked with the actor-filmmaker and martial artist in the 2017 Chinese action-adventure film Kung Fu Yoga. She played Ashmita in the Stanley Tong directorial, with Sonu Sood and Amyra Dastur also playing pivotal roles in the movie

Taking to her Instagram and Twitter handles, Disha expressed her gratitude for not just working with the world-famous stuntman, but also for his commitment toward entertaining the audience, even when it involves doing life-threatening stunts. “Happy b’day to the living LEGEND🌸 taguu ✨there will never be anyone like you❤️ you’ve put your life at risk constantly just to entertain us, I’m grateful to have met you and known you as the most beautiful human being!!”, Disha wrote, while she also posted a few pictures and a video clip.

One of the pictures that she shared featured her phone cover with Jackie’s autograph on it. In the video, Jackie was seen teaching Disha how to speak Mandarin. She wrote, “Keep spreading your love and light and inspiring all of us.”

Cut to her upcoming projects, Disha will appear in Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha’s action thriller film Yodha co-starring Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna. The movie is slated to release on July 7. She is also making her Tamil debut, alongside Suriya in a yet-to-be titled film, directed by Siva. Meanwhile, the actress is working on Project K - an upcoming Indian sci-fi actioner, written and directed by Nag Ashwin. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
