Season 5 will pick up where Season 4 left off, reportedly taking Joe Goldberg back to the setting of Season 1. Although details of the plot remain under wraps, it's confirmed there will be significant new cast additions. Penn Badgley has hinted at justice for Joe, saying, "It would be nice to end his arc with some form of justice. We’ve scrupulously tracked everyone who knows anything about Joe who’s still alive. Behnam portrays Dominique, a wealthy hipster and loyal friend to an artist clique, while Ploszek plays Joe's brother-in-law Harrison, a former pro football player married to Kate’s sister Reagan Lockwood. b is cast as Phoenix, a shrewd, resourceful character recovering from a tragedy. Francis plays a wannabe author.

Originally expected in late 2024, Netflix has confirmed You Season 5 will now be released in 2025. With production nearing completion, fans can likely expect the final season to premiere in early 2025 or within the first half of the year.
