Malayalam film Varayan is now streaming on another popular OTT platform. The 2022 film, which stars Siju Wilson in a lead role, is available on Manorama Max. The movie can also be watched on OTTplay Premium. It began streaming on Amazon Prime a few days after its theatrical release.

Varayan, which is the first movie that a priest has scripted, is directed by debutante Jijo Joseph. The main character of Varayan is a priest who lives alone on an island and forbids visitors. But when outside forces cause trouble, secrets are revealed, and the happy priest reveals his troubled past.

The film's primary flaw is that it presents scenes in a way that makes little sense to viewers. However, in the second half, monotony sets in while we continue to hope for some significant development. The first half is adequate. Watching this light-hearted film will require you to willingly abandon your dismay if you enjoy watching Siju Wilson's films. In addition to failing at the box office, the film had not left an impression in theatres.

Viewers had also grown to love the soundtracks to the films. The filmmakers received praise for obtaining some beautiful shots for the film.

Plot of Varayan

Aby Capuchin (played by Siju Wilson) is the appointed parish priest of Kalipakkara village, known for its outlaws. His past influences what he does, even though his lessons, which focus more on punches than sermons, bring about a radical change in the people. When people learn about this side of him, how will it affect them? The plot of this story revolves around Abychen's ability to move between the two sides while maintaining his endearing smile.

Cast and crew of Varayan

Leona Lishoy plays the female lead, while Jude Anthony Joseph, Maniyanpilla Raju, Vijayaraghavan, Bindu Panicker, Jayasankar, Joy Mathew, Davinji, and Baiju Ezhupunna are among the supporting cast. Danny Capuchin wrote the screenplay for Varayan, and Premachandran A G bankrolled the movie.
