Yodha Review

Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha did not open at the Box Office as expected, at least early in the day. However, the movie has seen a rise in terms of its second day advance booking. It has taken a rise of 133%. This also means that the film has seen a rise on its first day at the Box Office. Thus, it is expected to earn under Rs. 10 crores on day one itself.

Yodha day 1 BO prediction

According to early reports, Yodha is likely to earn Rs. 6-8 crores on day 1. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has already minted Rs. 1.33 crores from its advance opening. Considering the good word-of-mouth, the movie is expected to do much better by night and earn approximately Rs. 7 crores. The movie sold nearly 7000 tickets in advance booking itself and thus, the future for this one looks bright.

Yodha’s biggest competition

Yodha faces a huge competition from Ajay Devgn-R. Madhavan’s Shaitaan. Directed by Queen-famed helmer Vikas Bahl, the film is the official adaptation of the Gujarati movie Vash. Shaitaan is tagged as the best horror film made in a long time. Whether that can affect the Box Office collections of Yodha over the next few days, remains to be seen.

About Yodha

Yodha is touted as Sidharth’s ‘career best’ film. The movie brings back the makers of Shershaah (including Karan Johar as a producer). Helmed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, Yodha also stars Disha Patani and Raashi Khan as the main leads. The movie is a hijack drama and Sidharth plays the literal hero in Yodha (which translates to warrior).

Sidharth was last seen in Indian Police Force, which is from the Rohit Shetty cop universe. The web series also received many accolades and was among the most loved on OTT this year.
