Yatri Kripya Dhyan De teases Shaheer Sheikh in a ‘never seen before’ avatar

The upcoming short film, which also stars Shweta Basu Prasad, will release on Amazon miniTV on February 24

Shaheer Sheikh’s upcoming short film, Yatri Kripya Dhyan De, will see the seasoned star don a role, the likes of which audiences and fans have never seen him tackle before. At least, that’s what a new promo for the same seems to suggest.

The new promo, which can be watched on the official Instagram handle of Amazon miniTV, gives viewers a glimpse into Sheikh’s character named Sumit. The short clip seems to be designed to make viewers fall in love with the character, as we see some delightful and adorable glimpses of the star, who is seen driving a car. It also teases that Sheikh will be seen donning a ‘never before seen avatar’ as well.

The upcoming short film tells the story of Sumit, a man in his 30s, who meets a young woman named Nandita while driving along a remote hillside road. Nandita, who finds herself stranded after her car breaks down, asks Sumit for a ride, to which the latter agrees. As the two strike up a conversation, which starts touching upon the supernatural, things start to take a strange turn. When Sumit mentions that a girl had died on his property a while back, Nandita makes some jarring remarks.

In addition to Sheikh, the upcoming film also stars Shweta Basu Prasad, who essays the role of Nandita, the hitchhiker to whom Sumit offers a lift. Touted to be a nail-biting thriller, Yatri Kripya Dhyan De is written and directed by Abhinav Singh and produced under the banner of Big Banner Films.

Yatri Kripya Dhyan De will premiere on Amazon Mini TV on February 24, 2022.
