Mahi V Raghav is one of the most talented directors in Telugu cinema. He made headlines in the OTT world when his web series 'Save The Tigers was a huge hit on Hotstar. Later, he teamed up with the same platform for yet another series titled Shaitan. The web series was a solid hit and became the most-watched series in the regional space ever on Hotstar proving the talent of Mahi V Raghav.

Well, not only on OTT but Mahi V Raghav is also gearing up with multiple films for the big screens. His next biggie is Yatra 2 which is a sequel to the hit film Yatra which was a biopic on the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Malayalam superstar Mammootty played YSR and the film was a big hit at the box office. Now, Mahi is gearing up for Yatra 2 and Tamil star Jiiva is playing the lead.

Yatra 2 will showcase the life of YSR's son and the now AP CM, YS Jagan. We have come to know that the teaser of the film will be launched on the 8th of July as YSR's birth anniversary special. The film is being made on a massive budget and will be released during the time of 2024 elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Mahi V Raghav directed Yatra in a sensible manner and the audience appreciated it like a proper political drama. Now, all eyes are on now Jiiva as to how he will portray the role of YS Jagan. Mahi V Raghav is making this film on a massive budget and has roped in some seasoned stars to play key roles in this film.

As per the update, the shooting will begin soon in the month of August and the political drama will showcase the unknown facts about YS Jagan and how he came into power in AP. We need to see how Mahi will direct this political drama without taking any digs at other parties.
