Yash’s Toxic to said to be on the lines of THIS famous Hollywood series

We had earlier reported that Geethu Mohandas' upcoming directorial Toxic, starring Yash, will feature Nayanthara and Kiara Advani as the female leads. While they will be playing his sister and romantic interest respectively, the project has already become of the most much-anticipated films to come from Kannada film industry. In the latest, as per reports, the film is said to be on the lines of a famous Hollywood series. Read on further to know which title we are talking about.

Yash's Toxic to be like this Hollywood series?

Actor and director Geetu Mohandas will be joining forces with KGF-fame actor Yash for an upcoming Kannada flick titled Toxic. Touted to be an action thriller, it has been speculated that Nayanthara has replaced Kareena Kapoor Khan as Yash’s sister in the film while Kiara Advani will be playing his love interest. Huma Qureshi is also said to be roped in the film to essay a negative-shaded character.

As per a Pinkvilla report, Yash is set to play a stylish don in the film which is said to be contrasting from what he did in the KGF film franchise. A source said that the film will be "contemporary and international" and it will be on the lines of Peaky Blinders series on Netflix.

Yash's Toxic has already set its release date. It will be out in theatres on April 10, 2025. The film has gone on floors with the portions in India being shot with Nayanthara and Yash. The filming is also said to take place in London for a 150-day schedule.
