Yash19 continues to be a national issue as new speculations come to the fore.
It would seem that the entire country is currently engulfed by one common conundrum: When will Yash announce his next? The Rocking Star, still carrying the baggage of the monstrous success of K.G.F: Chapter 2 has been the subject of a lot of media hysteria with his next project being the most prominent topic of discussion. And to add fuel to this fire, Yash has been notoriously reluctant in all his recent media interactions to divulge even an iota of information about his professional commitments.
However, according to a few of the latest reports, the KGF 2 actor is busy narrowing down his interests and contemplating the many offers he has been getting from across the country. As reported by Pinkvilla, Yash has been approached by two major Bollywood studios with exciting roles and should things fall in place soon, Yash might well be seen donning a glorious mythological avatar in his next.
The first of the two rumoured offers has come from Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment who have envisioned Yash in the role of Karna in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's mythology project. The character and the project, of course, are a re-imagination of the epic Mahabharata and the makers are said to be keen on the Kannada actor playing the lead role in what would be conceived as a two-part film. An official word, however, is awaited on these reports.
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani first forged their association with Yash as the distributors of the Hindi versions of KGF 1 and KGF 2 (along with Anil Thadani's AA Films). K.G.F: Chapter 2 (Hindi), in particular, went on to be one of the biggest successes in the history of Hindi cinema and currently owns the record for the best opening day collections for a Hindi film.
On the other hand, the same reports share that Yash has been offered the role of Dev in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The makers are said to be quite enthused by the idea of casting a big-league south Indian actor like him to turn part two of the franchise into a bona fide pan-Indian venture. These claims, however, can be best seen as speculations at this point because neither of the parties involved has made any allusions so far and it is now only a matter of time before an official announcement is made.
Previously, reports regarding yet another mythology project concerning Yash and Tamil director Shankar made the rounds. Reports claimed that Karan Johar and streaming giant Netflix were associated with the project as joint producers but one awaits an official confirmation about the same.
