Royal Challengers Bangalore, UP Warriorz, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, and Delhi Capitals are the participating teams.

A total of 165 players, including 15 from associate nations and 104 Indian players, have registered for the WPL auction which is taking place in Mumbai. 30 spots in total — nine for international players — will be up for grabs in the auction, which will be divided among five teams namely — Royal Challengers Bangalore, UP Warriorz, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, and Delhi Capitals are the participating teams.

The 1st set saw an intense bidding war for Australia batter between Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz engaging in a big fight to acquire the services. She goes to GG for INR 1 crore.

As for Dani Wyatt, UP Warriroz went for her at her base price and got her without a fight for 30 lakhs.

Big names like Bharati Fulmali, Mona Meshram and Veda Krishnamurthy all went unsold.
