Joe and Anthony Russo, collectively known as The Russo Brothers, have already worked with actor Chris Evans on four different projects with the fifth geared up to release this coming month. The filmmakers have seen Evans grow in stature over the years and also evolve as a performer, particularly through the Marvel films wherein the latter plays the part of Captain America, a central figure of the cinematic universe along with The Iron Man, Thor, and the likes.

Many would also know that Chris Evans has also portrayed Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in the Fantastic Four films but according to The Russo Brothers, there is another superhero character for which they reckon Evans would fit the bill almost perfectly. While on the Phase Zero podcast of Comicbook.com, Joe and Anthony Russo were asked what other Marvel superhero character they picture Chris Evans playing, and the duo immediately said "Wolverine"!

Joe Russo, in the same breath, added that the Knives Out actor has incredible range and great physicality and that he even boasts of "real good body control". The brothers have also encountered Chris Evans at a personal level and they quip on the same podcast that the actor's real-life personality couldn't be any more different than that of Captain America. "He's an incredible actor. I don't mean this in a bad way, but he's nothing like Captain America. Steve Rogers is very controlled and quiet, understated. Chris is energetic and funny and charismatic, and he brings a lot of energy to set. I'd love to see him do something like Wolverine," added Joe Russo

The Russo Brothers' fifth collaboration with Chris Evans comes in the form of The Gray Man a slick action thriller centered on Ryan Gosling's super-skilled CIA mercenary who is hunted around the world by a psychopathic former colleague. Gosling will be seen as Count Gentry or Sierra Six who is on the run after he uncovers deadly secrets and it is up to Chris Evans' very sinister Lloyd Hansen to capture him on the globe-trotting mission. India's own Dhanush plays Avik San in the film which will be a Netflix release on July 22. The Gray Man is Netflix's most expensive film to date.
