World Cup 2023! Ranbir Kapoor relates Animal to the cricket team's determination at Ind vs NZ match: Going to any lengths to protect and win

Ranbir Kapoor spoke about his new film Animal and the country's devotion to cricket at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.

Ranbir Kapoor is at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to witness the historic semi-final Cricket World Cup 2023 match between India and New Zealand. The actor even promoted his upcoming film, Animal on the Pitch, where he spoke at length about the film. Moreover, RK even compared his character to the team that is eyeing the cup.

Ranbir Kapoor's pitch promotion of Animal

When sports anchor Mayanti Langer asked Ranbir about the film, the actor stated, "Well, the film is called Animal and it's releasing on the 1st of December. It's a family crime drama, and it's about how this character goes to any lengths to protect his family. It's kind of similar to how the country would go to any lengths to protect our team and win the Cup."

Sandeep Reddy Vanga (director and editor), T-Series, and Cine1 Studios (producer) are behind the action family drama Animal. Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri are among the leading actors in the film. Amit Roy is responsible for the cinematography. Due to considerable post-production work, Animal's original release date of August 11, 2023, has been moved back to December 1, 2023.

Unique father-son dynamic

According to the makers, Animal is the story of a son (Ranbir) who has an inexhaustible amount of love for his father (Anil). As their relationship deteriorates, a miraculous chain of events unfolds, which ultimately causes the son to transform miraculously and develop a ferocious desire for vengeance.

This is the first time Ranbir is sharing the screen space with Anil, Bobby, and Rashmika. The film's teaser and three songs are out which have increased excitement and curiosity among the cinegoers who are still figuring out what the film is all about.
