The entrepreneur, who impressed the sharks with his josh and jugaad, had bagged an investment from Peyush Bansal.
The first season of Shark Tank India saw some memorable contestants indeed, whose stories and dreams managed to strike a chord with viewers. One of the favourites among them was definitely Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare, better known as Jugaadu Kamlesh. His zest, passion and moving story definitely made an impact on the sharks. While the other sharks declared themselves out of making a deal within, although promising to help in every way possible, Lenskart CEO and co-founder Peyush Bansal took a chance on the young inventor, and struck a deal with him. After being under Peyush’s wing, Kamlesh definitely seems to have blossomed indeed.
Peyush’s company recently posted a video showing the tremendous progress Kamlesh made, with some help from Peyush. We see the entrepreneur’s humble design take on a much more sophisticated, effective form, with the number of sprays being increased so that the distribution is much more efficient. Peyush is seen examining and given a demonstration of the product by Kamlesh, with his trusty partner and cousin Naru by his side.
The video also introduces viewers to the expert design team that Peyush assembled to help Kamlesh design the sleeker version of the machine.
Shark and Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director Namita Thapar is also seen making an appearance in the video, meeting Kamlesh and seeing the product work. Namita is seen declaring that she is proud of the young entrepreneur.
