Wonderful World Episode 8 story

Episode 8 opens with the confrontation between Soo-hyun (played by Kim Nam-joo) and Seon-yul (Cha Eun-woo), and they share their intertwined bitter past that shattered their ‘happy families.’ She also indirectly warns him to stay away from her loved ones; otherwise, the consequences would be dire. The latest episode also brought in new twists, such as Soo-hyun's neighbour Hye-geum and Kim-joon's connection.

It also unveiled the dark secret of the 'mystery woman’ responsible for Suho’s infidelity. Seon-yul seems to be inching closer to his quest and sweet revenge as his plan to break Soo-hyun is executed successfully. The episode ends with Soo-hyun's trauma and pain when she learns the shocking truth that her husband Suho and adopted sister Yuri had an affair while she was in jail.

Wonderful World Episode 8 review

Wonderful World, starring Kim Nam-joo and Cha Eun-woo narrates a twisted tale of revenge and trauma. The latest episode unravels the flashback scenes before the tragedy that shattered Soo-hyun's life. After the cold faceoff between Soo-hyun and Seon-yul, the drama unfolds the extreme political ambition of presidential candidate Kim Joon, who can torture and blackmail anyone to get the status.

The episode was quite entertaining with its multiple twists and turns. Wonderful World’s gripping narrative touches upon dirty politics, family tragedy, trauma, and vengeance, making it an intriguing thriller series. Episode 8 concluded with Soo-hyun's broken heart and trust after she learned about the betrayal from two of her beloved people, Suho and Yuri. It also marked Seon-yul's cold revenge, for which he had been waiting for a long time now. Meanwhile, it would be interesting to watch how Soo-hyun will cope with the loss and Seon-yul's follow-up revenge plan, which includes Soo-hyun's last strength, her mother.
