A few days ago, Adarsh took to his Instagram page and penned a heartfelt note ahead of the release of Woh Bhi Din The which was earlier titled Banana. The actor-singer wrote that a small group of actors from Delhi and Mumbai were selected in 2013 to travel to Jamshedpur to be a part of their first feature film production. He was astounded to learn that he had been cast in a film with several students from Loyola School, his alma mater. Banana, as they called the movie for a long time, had a profound impact on his life as many firsts were showcased in the film. Adarsh had never before played such a significant role in a film. After becoming deeply in love with acting, he resolved to devote his life to the craft. His most treasured memories include the cast and crew staying in a bungalow and filming locations around the city where he had spent his formative years.
The actor added that, in addition to being the first feature film for the majority of the actors, it was also Sajid Ali's directorial debut. Almost everyone who worked on the film, including cinematographer Jay I. Patel, made their debut in that role. The opportunity to sing on Banjare was an incredible blessing from Joi Barua and Sajid; it is his favourite track on the album. After an excessively lengthy eleven years, Woh Bhi Din The will finally premiere on ZEE5 on March 22!
Adarsh concluded by writing that the one poetic justice he can find in this whole mess is that he got to call these amazing folks his family because of the film. The actor prays that many people see this movie and share their love with them.
