Ranbir Kapoor's Animal is breaking records unlike any other
Ranbir Kapoor has challenged Shah Rukh Khan with his latest film Animal’s release. The movie has managed to beat Atlee directed Jawan at the Box Office on its second Sunday. With that, Animal is only second to Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 Box Office on the said day. This has positioned Ranbir’s place as the youngest superstar, at least in the post pandemic era.
Ranbir becomes first young actor to get superstar tag in post pandemic times
The post-pandemic times have been tough and it was only after Shah Rukh Khan came early this year that Bollywood saw revival at the Box Office. Now, Ranbir Kapoor has taken over with Animal. With the same, he has become the ‘youngest superstar’ post pandemic. The actor is the only one to deliver Rs. 200 crores plus collection in the post-pandemic era.
Animal breaks records
Animal has entered Rs. 500 crore club already in net collections in India. This is considering all languages. The movie has also grossed Rs. 800 crores worldwide and is the highest grossing film in Canada and Australia.
Hurdles for the film? Not an issue at all
Animal has broken records despite all hurdles. The movie is a long 3 hours and 40 minutes film but not one person has complained about the timing of Animal so far. There have been mixed reviews regarding the film but they were all regarding the content. The A certificate and cuts, including an intimate scene between Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna being edited, did not affect the film in any way either.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga also becoming a brand
After Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, people recognized Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Animal further helped the audiences understand what kind of movies the filmmaker comes up with. While not everyone agrees with his kind of cinema, the Box Office numbers prove that he knows what he’s doing with his movies. It now appears that Animal success has also led Vanga to focus on the universe Animal Park over his other movies. The sequel to the recent release is expected to go on floors soon.
