Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee have worked together in over 5 films in the past decade.
Bengal is undoubtedly in love with Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee’s pairing. The duo has done over five films together in the past decade, thus proving that their chemistry is loved all across Bengal.
When they first paired up for Amanush in 2010, the two were so surreal on-screen that the audiences could not believe they were not in love in real life. Since that movie, they have paired up for a number of projects together and have become an iconic duo in Bengali cinema.
After working in numerous films together, the duo has now paired up for Hoichoi’s upcoming web series Dujone. The show explores a romantic angle (as expected), but has a nasty twist to it, much like their debut romantic-thriller Amanush.
Watch the trailer of Dujone here:
Dujone is a series where neither Amar (Soham) nor Ahana (Srabanti) can be trusted. They both have other plans, even if they pretend to love each other on the face.
Both Soham and Srabanti seem to have played their part well in the series and we’re not complaining about seeing them together again, as their chemistry is quite organic and fluid.
The show is slated to release on July 9. It is bound to unravel some mysteries about both Amar and Ahana who are fighting with themselves and with each other for different reasons.
However, Dujone will not mark the end of Soham-Srabanti’s collaboration. The duo is also likely to be seen in Nabajiban Bima Company, a film which is yet to be officially announced.
