The actress will make her Tamil-Telugu OTT debut with October 31 – Ladies Night,
If everything went as per plan, actress Rakul Preet Singh's first OTT release would have been a project with Vaishnav Tej, directed by Krish, adapted from the award-winning Telugu novel Kondapolam. The success of Vaishnav Tej's debut release Uppena changed equations and now the film is only headed for theatrical avenues. Instead, Rakul will now officially make her digital debut with a Tamil-Telugu bilingual OTT show, October 31 – Ladies Night, directed by Thalaivi filmmaker AL Vijay.
Interestingly, the makers have opted for an unconventional pairing between Vishwak Sen and Rakul for the project. As per a report by 123Telugu.com, the thriller, spanning across a Halloween night, will also star four other actresses including Manjima Mohan, Megha Akash, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Reba Monica John. The project's final schedule is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad.
The details surrounding the OTT platform and other details of the crew are yet to be revealed. Rakul's recent projects in Telugu including Spyder, Manmadhudu 2, Check and NTR Kathanayakudu haven't fared that well. It's crucial that her upcoming releases (which are many) in Telugu and Tamil including Ayalaan (Tamil), October 31 – Ladies Night and the untitled Krish directorial deliver the goods.
