Prithviraj traveled to Hyderabad to promote the Telugu dubbed version of Kaduva and was seen speaking to the local media in his usual candor.
Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Kaduva and his stopover included the city of Bengaluru. Prithviraj spoke at length about his film and also the strong association with the Kannada Film Industry that has bloomed especially over the past six-odd months. The actor also divulged that he would love to collaborate with the likes of Rakshit Shetty, Yash, and filmmaker Pawan Kumar of Lucia fame in the future, should possibilities emerge.
In the same vein, Prithviraj traveled to Hyderabad to promote the Telugu dubbed version of Kaduva and was seen speaking to the local media in his usual candor. When quizzed about the prospects in the Telugu Film Industry, he shared that was in town not just for the promotions but also to finalize a massive collaboration that comes in the form of Salaar.
"I am doing a Telugu film. As everyone knows already, I have been offered a very important role in Salaar. In fact, the film came to me about two years ago, and I loved the story because it is simply superb. And I had said yes immediately because Prashanth (Neel) and Hombale Films, the production house, are also friends - and, of course, it's a Prabhas film so you would want to work with him. I said yes to it then but, because of the pandemic, the dates kept changing, and in between, I thought I will not be able to do it because of commitments in Malayalam. But later, Prabhas' commitments got moved and his dates changed and we are suddenly in a situation where maybe it will work out. Maybe if adjust the dates a bit, I will be part of Salaar. I will know, I am meeting Prashant today," said Prithviraj Sukumaran at the press meet.
Salaar, as many would already know, will be a Kannada-Telugu bilingual with Hombale Films, the makers of K.G.F: Chapter 2, bankrolling the film. The project has been in the works for quite some time and has endured a few delays too but is expected to release on a rather large-scale manner in 2023. Salaar also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and others with Prashanth Neel at the helm of things. Prithviraj Sukumaran was associated with KGF 2 as a distributor in Kerala and followed that up with a similar association with 777 Charlie.
