Will Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's Hindi release affect Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada? Paresh Rawal responds

Taking advantage of Pushpa's fame and success, the directors of Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo have opted to dub the film in Hindi, which will be released on January 26, 2022, in India. However, the film is also getting a Hindi remake titled Shehzada featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon stepping into the shoes of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde, respectively. The Rohit Dhawan-directed film also features Paresh Rawal in a supporting role.

During a recent interaction with India Today, the veteran actor revealed he was surprised with the news of Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo's Hindi dubbed version hitting the big screens. Rawal said that this will have an impact on Shehzada's business, but given Kartik's devoted fan base and immense popularity, it should work in our favour.

Furthermore, when compared to the South, the actor shared that Shehzada is far more sophisticated. He went on to say that the sets are wonderful, the house they shot in Delhi is stunning, and the film's overall production value is excellent.

Rawal said that the remake has been handled in a unique way that caters to their target demographic. Thus, Shehzada should be unaffected by the release of Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo in Hindi.

The Hera Pheri actor further asked if it is wise to remake movies in this day and age when everything is available at the touch of a button.

The actor also said that when making a contract, one must use extreme caution because they won't dub it in Hindi till they have exhausted their run and it has to be taken care of. Otherwise, Rawal feels there is no use in making these films when people are putting so much money, time, and effort into them.

Talking about Arjun, the Hungama actor called him a tremendous star right now, especially after Pushpa: The Rise. He said that the Telugu star's popularity is at an all-time high right now, which is fantastic.
