Salman Khan has made a name for himself as one of the most popular action stars in Bollywood with his films like Dabangg, Race, Tiger and more. The actor’s Race film series ended with 2018’s Race 3. The year also marked the release year of Sylvester Stallone’s Creed 2. Khan’s delightful promotion of the Creed 2 was reciprocated by Stallone, although the Hollywood star seemed to have fumbled on his first try. Here’s a look back at the hilarious turn of events.

Taking to his official social media, Khan had shared a clip of Stallone talking about Creed 2, captioning it “While I introduce the #race3 family this week, this is something all of you should know”.

A few days later, Stallone seemed to have made an attempt to try and return the favour, by sharing a poster of Khan’s Race 3, and captioning it “The very best wishes to very talented film hero SALMAN KHAN for his next film RACE 3! @beingsalmankhan”. Although the Hollywood actor’s heart was in the right place, he had accidentally shared a photo featuring Bobby Deol instead of Khan.

Realising the fumble, Stallone deleted the post and shared another post and got it right by including Khan’s photograph. Hilariously acknowledging his previous mistake, Stallone captioned it “OK, EVERYBODY let’s try this AGAIN , good luck to the very talented SALMAN KHAN on his upcoming new film RACE 3 ! ( if this is wrong I give up ! ) LOL”.

Stallone’s connection to Bollywood does not end here. The Hollywood star has also made an appearance in the 2009 film Kambakkht Ishq, sharing the screen with Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film also features cameos by Denise Richards, Brandon Routh and Holly Valance. Kambakkht Ishq can be streamed on Voot and Eros Now.
