Sunil Kumar recently grabbed headlines for his role in Stree 2. He was the Sarkata in Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's film. On August 31, he shared a picture with Ali Fazal from a shoot. The post received a lot of love from fans.

A while ago, Sunil Kumar took to his Instagram account and dropped a picture posing with Mirzapur star Ali Fazal. Sharing the picture on Instagram, Kumar wrote, "Shoot with Ali Fazal Guddu Bhaiya."

In the picture, Sunil wore a blue t-shirt and black pants while Fazal donned a sky blue sweatshirt and pants.

Fans react to Sunil Kumar's post

Reacting to Sunil's post, one fan wrote, "wah mere bhai." Another commented, "great bro." A third fan wrote, "shaa gya praa tu te." Several fans dropped fire and red hearts emojis.

Stree 2 writer Niren Bhatt talks about Sarkata

Speaking to PTI, Stree 2 writer Niren Bhatt decoded Sarkata's character. He said that some people complain that there is a lot of humour but less horror or vice versa but these are not horror films where actual ghosts are haunting people.

He added, "All our ghosts are fallacies of our society. Sarkata is the most warped form of patriarchy. Stree is the symbol of matriarchy, she is not a witch. Bhediya is the protector of the forests. We have designed these characters in a certain way. We are not talking about hocus pocus or spirits out of the blue."

About Mirzapur

The third season of the action, crime and thriller series received mixed reviews from netizens. The cast featured Ali, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi, and others. Mirzapur 3 makers recently released a bonus episode to give fans more of Divyenndu's character, Munna bhaiya. However, netizens were not impressed with it.
