And now, Tovino Thomas reveals that he got a call from Lokesh Kanagaraj after his film Thallumaala. Stating that the call was completely unexpected, Tovino said in an interview to Galatta, "Lokesh Kanagaraj called me after Thallumaala. It was quite unexpected and it means a lot to get appreciation from someone like that. He took his time and appreciated the film."
The actor reveals that Lokesh had planned to call him after Minnal Murali itself. "He said he wanted to call me soon after Minnal Murali but after Thallumaala, he just couldn’t stop himself from calling me. When quizzed about working with the Leo director, Tovino said, " I would love to work with him. But the movies that he is doing are big projects and I am a little bit busy, too. It will definitely happen."
Talking about his films, Tovino said, "When my movie releases, I get satisfaction from the audience's faces. If the audience can feel the emotions that we are portraying on screen, I will sleep peacefully that day. I don;t have any strategies or plans. It doesn't matter if it's a big or small film. My remuneration too depends on the movies. If I am shooting for say 100 or 120 days, obviously it's higher when compared to a film that requires only 30 days of shoot. Because the effort is different. I put in my 100 percent for every movie."
