Katrina Kaif was young when she moved to India to pursue an acting career in movies. When she just started out in the film industry, the actress faced a lot of criticism. At that time, Katrina would often cry after receiving criticism. However, she mustered the courage and made a mark for herself in the industry. In a new interview, the Bollywood actress recalled an instance where she was told that she couldn't dance on the sets of a Telugu film.

Katrina Kaif recalls being told that she couldn't dance

Speaking to Mid-Day, Katrina Kaif opened up about the time she did a Telugu film called Malliswari with Venkatesh Daggubati. The actress remembered that when she was shooting for a song, somebody on the set said on the microphone, "This girl just can’t dance."

Katrina added that she remembers, very specifically, not feeling pained or sensitive about it. She just heard it as information. She also recalled many people telling her that she wouldn't 'make it' in films. All of this changed in due time, of course, and she went on to become a star. The same people who said that she would never be successful went on to work with her later on.
