Although Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most successful and highest paid actresses in Bollywood, did you know what she went through before Jab We Met? Released in 2007, the film was a game changer for the 43-year-old actress. More like a life saver! During a recent conversation with Ranveer Allahabadia, that's what she spilled.

Kareena Kapoor Khan's struggle

While talking about her struggles and difficulties in her over 2 decades of career, Kareena said that she had a huge line-up of flop projects. This shocking situation literally made her cry all night. She used to feel like nobody can survive like this. The actress revealed that she prays to god everyday that nobody has to feel such pain. This suffering made her take a long gap of 1 year, and constantly doubt her own abilities.

Reports reveal that Kareena Kapoor Khan has rejected big-budget films like Black (2005), Fashion (2008), Queen (2013), Chennai Express (2013), and many other unknown projects.

Kapoor admitted that box office does matter in the film industry, no matter what others say. The pressure is real because everyone is chasing it. She also admitted that although actors are supposed to exhibit their talent and art, film is all about art, but in the end, numbers are important. According to Kareena, box office numbers also affect actors’ personalities and way of thinking.

Jab We Met sequel?

Kareena further stated that when she got the offer of Jab We Met, she already lost confidence in herself. But it seems like her fans don't agree with that. Jab We Met has a huge fan following even after 17 years have passed. Even a new rumour was there that makers are in talks to bring a sequel to Jab We Met. Seems like the box office success and fans’ immense love made them take such an incredible decision.

Nevertheless, after making her successful OTT debut with Jaane Jaan (2023), Kareena Kapoor Khan is now gearing up for Crew. The film also stars Kirti Sanon and Tabu in the lead roles. The trio will be seen in quirky and fun loving friends and air hostess colleagues. Crew is coming soon in theatres on March 29, 2024.

Kareena Kapoor Khan's next project

After Crew, Kapoor has Singham Again in her kitty, alongside Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor. This film is the 3rd instalment of Singham franchise, and 5th instalment of Rohit Shetty's cop universe.
