Welcome to the Jungle first look.
Fans are excitedly waiting for Welcome to the Jungle's release but they may have to wait as there's a major change in the plan. As per the latest update, the Ahmed Khan directorial might not be released in cinemas this year. The comic caper, starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and others, was slated for a theatrical release on December 20, 2024. However, the makers have reportedly decided to postpone Welcome 3's release. Wondering why? Let's find out!
A source close to the project informed Hindustan Times that a December 20 release seems unlikely for Welcome to the Jungle. Produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, Welcome to the Jungle is the third installment in the Welcome franchise. The comic caper's release might be delayed as VFX work is also required.
"Welcome... has been mounted on a grand scale, with the first schedule wrapping up recently in May. It was a lengthy shoot in Aarey Colony, Mumbai, with the entire star cast present. However, this was just the first of several schedules planned. Additionally, significant VFX work will be required after principal photography concludes," a source told the publication.
For the uninitiated, Welcome to the Jungle marks Akshay Kumar's return to the franchise after his absence in Welcome Back. This movie also marks Akshay's reunion with Raveena Tandon after 20 years.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome to the Jungle boasts of an ensemble star cast. Actresses Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani will be seen in pivotal roles. The male star cast of the comedy film includes Akshay, Paresh, Suniel, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Rajpal Yadav, and several others.
