After the big announcement about Housefull 4, here’s another on Akshay Kumar’s upcoming project. The actor will be working on Welcome 3, which is also supposed to be releasing before Hera Pheri 3. Not just Welcome 3 and Hera Pheri 3, we also have an update on Awara Pagal Deewana 2.

A report on Pinkvilla suggests that Welcome 3 will go on floors first. This will be followed by Hera Pheri 3. Thus, Welcome 3 might just release before Hera Pheri 3. It looks like Akshay had a major role to play in bringing the franchise films to life.

Welcome 3 to be announced on Akshay’s birthday?

The report further suggests that Welcome 3 will be announced on Akshay’s birthday i.e. on September 9. Just three days later, we might hear about the film, bankrolled by Firoz Nadiadwala. However, the big thing is, it will clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan release. Will it still leave an impact? That remains to be seen.

While we wait for an official announcement, the report suggests that Welcome 3 will release on Christmas 2024 weekend. It will go on floors soon. Ahmed Khan takes on the director’s chair this time around. What’s interesting is the title for Welcome 3. This time, the movie could be named Welcome To The Jungle. That has been the tagline for the Hollywood movie, Jumanji.

Who all are a part of the cast apart from Akshay?

Apart from Akshay Kumar, it looks like the cast for Welcome 3 will consist of Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in the lead roles. Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez could play the female leads in the film. Out of them, Arshad and Sanjay are known for their comic character (interestingly they are a hit combo of Munna and Circuit from Munna Bhai MBBS). Meanwhile, Jacqueline has worked with Akshay in Housefull 2 and 3 before.
