Weapon, the recently released Tamil film starring actors Vasanth Ravi and Sathyaraj in the lead roles, is now available to be streamed on Aha Tamil. The film is also available on OTTplay Premium. Weapon is a superhuman saga that is written and directed by filmmaker Guhan Seniappan.

The 2024 Tamil film Weapon, which hit theatres on June 7, is now available for streaming on Aha Tamil. Alternatively, the film is available on OTTplay Premium as well. For the first time, Sathyaraj and Vasanth Ravi shared screen space in this movie.
Weapon revolves around a YouTuber called Agni, who is known for showcasing superhumans and making videos on them. As he discovers suspicious footage of a boy surviving a truck accident, it leads him into an investigation, resulting in a clash with a powerful secret society. This leads him to realise that he has a part of his superhuman identity, leading to a confrontation with his father. While Sathyaraj plays the superhuman, Vasanth Ravi plays the YouTuber who is in search of the former.
Apart from Sathyaraj, and Vasanth Ravi, Weapon also stars a host of known faces, including Rajiv Menon, Tanya Hope, Rajeev Pillai, Yashika Aannand, Mime Gopi, Kaniha, Gajaraj, Syed Subhan, Baradwaj Rangan, Velu Prabhakaran, Maya Krishnan, Shiyas Kareem, Benito Franklin, Raghu Esakki and others.

The music has been scored by Ghibran. It is bached by MS Manzoor under Million Studio. Prabhu Raghav is the cinematographer and the film is edited by Gopi Krishna. Guhan Seniappan has directed the film.
Aha Tamil’s expanding content slate
Aha Tamil has been expanding its content slate steadfastly. The platform has been acquiring the latest Tamil releases of 2024 and bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of films like Weapon, Kurangu Pedal, Haraa, Rasavathi, Sirugan, Oru Nodi, Hot Spot, and Romeo to name a few. All these films are also available on OTTplay Premium as well. The streaming platform also announced the second season of its web series Vera Maari Office.
