We Live in Time takes a non-linear journey to OTT, and you can now rent it on Prime Video.
A month after its theatrical release, We Live in Time has made it to OTT, but there's a catch. The comedy-drama starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh is available to rent on Prime Video at Rs. 119. Nick Payne and John Crowley chronicle the film over a decade, employing a non-linear narrative structure.
In We Live in Time a fateful meeting brings Tobias (Andrew Garfield) and Almut (Florence Pugh) together, altering the course of their lives forever. John Crowley's ten-year, emotionally wrenching romance follows a couple as they face the constraints of time and learn to treasure the unique journey their love story has taken.
Simon Maxson (Adam James), Adrienne Duvall (Marama Corlett), Skye (Aoife Hinds), Sanjay (Nikhil Parmar), Buffy Jones (Heather Craney), and Reginald Durand (Douglas Hodge) are all members of the film's ensemble cast. In addition to Niamh Cusack, Amy Morgan, Grace Delaney, and Lee Braithwaite as Sylvia, the ensemble also includes Lucy Briers as Dr. Kerri Weaver, Robert Boulter as Dr. Hernandez, and Kerry Godliman as Jane.
The poster for the film featuring Garfield and Pugh grabbed eyeballs thanks to a horse from the merry-go-round they are riding on. In an interview with AP, the lead actors expressed their frustration at the horse's overshadowing, which quickly became a popular meme on the Internet.
Pugh stated that the image may not have been as prominent as it was. However, when the image went viral, she expressed enormous concern due to its entertaining and witty nature. However, she considers that scene to be her favourite part of the entire film. Their "Okay, let's go" moment comes at this point. They should go on a date and engage in sexual activity. They should consider having a child, express their desire, and take action.
Garfield remarked, "And then the horse steals the show!"
Meanwhile, overall, critics gave it a positive response upon its release in October 2024, praising the performances in particular, and the film has made $29 million at the box office.
