Yeonjun has displayed a diverse range of vocal abilities across TXT's discography and his projects. However, he has also shown his talent when it comes to dance covers that truly established him as the 'IT' boy of his generation.
He was selected for 'Studio Choom's' Artist of the Month and showcased his talents with mesmerizing dance covers to Harry Styles's 'Watermelon Sugar' and Ed Sheeran's 'Blow', featuring Chris Stapleton & Bruno Mars.
During the SBS Gayo Daejeon, Yeonjun delivered captivating performances of some of the year's hottest songs, namely Jessi's 'Zoom', BLACKPINK's 'Shut Down', and his labelmate BTS' track, 'Run BTS'. What's also interesting is that while many male K-pop idols opt for songs from other boy bands, Yeonjun chose to cover tracks by female artists as well.
Released in 2020, this song cover came as a surprise for fans, as it offered a deeper glimpse into Yeonjun's vocal abilities. This cover showed all the breadth of his vocal talents and even sparked hope of a collaboration with the original singer August Alsina, which fans believe would undoubtedly sound heavenly.
