On Shark Tank India, Anupam Mittal became one of the most well-liked sharks in the tank. With his impeccable business savviness and charming demeanour, the businessman earned quite an enviable fan following among viewers of the show. Mittal is the founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, and the journey of how he came to start his company was chronicled in a short film, Anupam Ki Shaadi. The businessman added another feather to his cap when he took on the role of acting in the film. Mittal recently shared a BTS clip which showed what went into his acting role.

The businessman shared the video on his official social media handles, which showed him undergoing several physical transformations to get his character right. The video also features some delightful BTS moments, featuring the cast and crew behind the film. One among them hilariously describes Mittal as a “successful businessman but a struggling actor”.

Mittal captioned the post, “From trying wigs to going clean-shaven to multiple takes & then struggling to act, it took a lot to get this film right. Here it is, all caught on the #BTS of #anupamkishaadi … the film about the Shaadi.com journey. Great work team @shaadi.com in capturing these moments and making this film even though at times, I did not believe.”

Anupam Ki Shaadi traces the over two-decade long journey of how Mittal came to build his company. The film is available to stream on YouTube.

Interestingly, the short film is not the first time Mittal has displayed his acting skills. The businessman starred in a leading role in Raj & DK's debut film Flavours. The romantic comedy also featured Jicky Schnee, Reef Karim and Pooja Kumar in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Mittal was a judge on Shark Tank India along with SUGAR Cosmetics co-founder and CEO, Vineeta Singh, Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director, Namita Thapar, Lenskart CEO and co-founder, Peyush Bansal, boAt CMO and co-founder, Aman Gupta, former BharatPe founder, Ashneer Grover and MamaEarth co-founder, Ghazal Alagh. The popular business reality show, which can be streamed on SonyLIV, is renewed for a second season.
