A month ago, Farhan Akhtar made an official announcement about 'Don 3'. The filmmaker roped in Ranveer Singh as the new Don for the third installment. The news of Ranveer replacing Shah Rukh Khan in the 'Don' franchise drew mixed reactions on the Internet. However, all is well between Singh and SRK. Their recent meeting at Mukesh Ambani's Ganesh Chaturthi celebration proves the same.

A video of Ranveer Singh meeting Shah Rukh Khan has gone viral on social media. They met in public for the first time since the announcement of 'Don 3'. Singh walked upto SRK, greeted him and gave him a warm hug. This adorable moment between the B-Town actos was captured on camera.

A paparzzo shared this heartwarming video on Instagram. The caption read, "#ranveersingh at Ambani Ganpati Inside visual (sic)." Apart from meeting SRK, Ranveer greeted his 'Cirkus' co-star Pooja Hedge.

Ranveer Singh attended the mega Ganesh Chaturthi celebration with his wife Deepika Padukone. On the other hand, the 'Jawan' actor marked his presence with wife Gauri Khan, daughter Suhana Khan and son AbRam.

After Farhan made an official announcement, Ranveer expressed excitement over taking forward the legacy of the 'Don' franchise.

They’ve shaped the person and actor that I am. Taking their legacy forward is a manifestation of my childhood dream (sic)," a part of his heartfelt Instagram note read.

On the work front, Ranveer was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.
