Netflix has finally released the trailer of the much anticipated animated series Q-Force. The animated adult comedy series created by Sean Hayes and Michael Schur focuses on LGBTQ superspies. Chronicling the adventures of a homosexual secret agent Steve Maryweather aka Agent Mary and his LGBTQ squad, Hayes will also voice the character of Agent Mary. David Harbour, a former co-star of Hayes, will be the voice behind Agent Buck, a straight character who joins the group after their recognition as official spies by the American Intelligence Agency.

The trailer gave fans a sneak peek into the Q-Force world, revealing the interesting and outspoken group of characters filled with comedic responses in the series. The trailer starts with Agent Mary giving a huge shoutout to his squad for being the first in the list of queer agents in the force. The series calls attention towards its premise for breaking conventional stereotypical barriers. In an attempt by Netflix to expand its LGBTQ content in the live-action sector, the trailer presents a fresh, out-of-the-box perspective through the first animated series hailing LGBTQ representation replacing conventional ideas of superheros.

Alongside David Harbour who will also be seen in Black Widow this July, the cast includes Wanda Sykes, Laurie Metcalf, and Gary Cole. The series will finally premiere on September 2, this year, after nearly two years of waiting since Netflix picked up the series.
