In the run-up to the release of his first attempt at making a romantic comedy, Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, director Srinivasa Raju chose to skip revealing details about the film with a trailer, and instead only put most of the film’s songs out for public consumption. The Arjun Janya musical has quite a few songs and Srinivasa Raju’s gamble paid off, with audiences taking a fancy to all, especially the viral hit, Dwapara.

Sung by Jaskaran Singh, Dwapara was a roaring hit right from the time a lyrical video came out. Featuring Ganesh and heroine Malavika Nair, the romantic number had the Golden Star busting a hook step, which, soon enough became popular reel material. The film recently completed 25 days at the box office, following which, the team today dropped the full video of the song that helped Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi’s box office performance immensely. A little while ago, the full video of Dwapara was released, so, if you’d loved the song, it gets better with all the visuals now.

Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi has Ganesh as Krishna, a very successful entrepreneur, who falls head-over-heels in love with Pranaya (Malavika Nair), who runs the operations of the orphanage she grew up in. Initially, he pretends to be a lowly driver seeking work at the orphanage, in the hope that he could win her over before she becomes aware of their vastly different socio-economic statuses, and sees it has a hindrance.
