Watch BTS moments of making songs for Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum

Arisil Moorthy's Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum starring Mithun Manickam and Ramya Pandian in lead roles, premiered on Amazon Prime Video a week ago. Produced by Suriya's production house 2D Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the film marked the debut of actor-singer Krishh's debut as a music director.

The makers have now released a three-minute video which provides a glimpse into the making of songs from the movie and Krishh explaining about the five tracks in it. Posting the video on Twitter, the production house tweeted, "Here's the intriguing story of how #RARAOnPrime got it's catchy yet soulful music."

The video opens with Krishh saying that all the five songs in the film are like children to him. According to him, the song Kombana Kombu Vecha which had Yugabharthi penning lyrics, is special as it delineates the importance of bulls in villages and how they are of significant important to the lives of people there. Lallariyo Lallariyo, sung by Velmurugan, he thinks, stood out because of the visuals as well. M Sukumar, the DOP of the movie, makes an appearance in the video and says that the song was shot on a hill station and that they were gratified with its visuals.

Krishh informs that it took him and the director a long time to come up with the track Suit Coat-u which was crooned by Thirumurthy. He says, "For every music director, a song becomes a benchmark. I hope this song serves that purpose for me." Bamba Bakya had lent voice for Kaasu, which Krishh thinks, is a song which conveyed several emotions like pain, sorrow and joy.

The musician says that Enna Vittu Pona the two-minute song, a poignant track sung by Senthildas, succeeded in conveying the dejection of the protagonist. On an ending note, Krishh asks the audience to give him honest feedback on his music, and thanked Suriya and Rajsekar Pandian for the opportunity. Ramya Pandian, too, made a brief appearance in the video and said that she Kombana Kombu Vecha is her favourite song. She says, "During the dubbing session, I used to listen to the song and watch its visuals before I start lending my voice in the studio."
