Recently, streaming platform Amazon Prime Video unveiled the release date for its upcoming original series, which has a rich narrative and ensemble cast. Today, the ensemble cast broke into Ananya Panday’s dressing room with an ulterior motive. Read on to learn what the young cast of BGDC is doing in Ananya’s dressing room.

Prime Video India shared an exciting video clip to promote their latest original series, Big Girls Don’t Cry, which is slated for a March 14 release. Ahead of the premiere, the female-led cast sneaked into Ananya Panday’s dressing room to ask for her help with promoting their upcoming series.

In the clip that was shared on X (formerly Twitter), we see Ananya sitting in her dressing room when some girls sneak in and introduce themselves as the cast of Prime’s new show. Mean Girl’s Avantika Vandanapu is also seen in the video as she is a part of the ensemble cast. She asks for Ananya’s help to promote their show. "We have a lot of dreams and now even a great show; all we need is someone to promote it,” the cast members tell Ananya.

When Ananya asked what the show was about, the girl squad gives an insight into some of the pivotal themes: friendship, sisterhood, patriarchy, growing up, first love, boarding school drama, and much more.

Big Girls Don’t Cry is a collaborative directorial venture of talented filmmakers Nitya Mehra, Karan Kapadia, Kopal Naithani, and Sudhanshu Saria. It revolves around a group of boarding school girls who will face challenges while navigating their lives. Pooja Bhatt also stars as a teacher/headmistress.

Ananya also boosted the morale of the nervous castmates and said that if they can easily infiltrate into her shoot, then they can also overcome the challenges of the promotions. “Big Girls Don’t Cry; they got to fight for what they want,” Ananya says as she gives the team her best wishes.

The ensemble cast of Big Girls Don't Cry consists of Pooja Bhatt, Zoya Hussain, Avantika Vandanapu, Lovleen Misra, Mukul Chadda, Raima Sen, Dalai Tenzin Lhakyila, Aneet Padda, Akshita Sood, Afrah Sayed, and Vidushi.
