Ali Abba Zafar is currently gearing up for the release of his new film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Last week, when the trailer of BMCM dropped, Katrina Kaif gave a huge shoutout to the entire team. She also praised the lead actors, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. In an interview with News18, director Ali revealed that Katrina is always on his mind when he makes a new film. But when the filmmaker doesn't cast her, she calls him and asks the reason. However, this time it was Katrina who couldn't take up Ali's movie.

Here's why Katrina Kaif couldn't do Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Ali Abbas Zafar added that there's a lot of potential in Katrina Kaif as an actor. The director recalled that she had done good work with him on his films like Bharat, Mere Brother Ki Dulhana and Tiger Zinda Hai. And every time Ali makes a new film, Katrina is the first to call him and complain about not being cast in his films.

When asked if Katrina was the original choice for one of the female characters in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Ali said, "She couldn’t do our film because she was busy with something else. I just hope that she keeps her dates free for my next film."
