It was exactly on October 2, 2019 when the Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff starrer WAR had got released. The film, which was directed by Siddharth Anand, went onto become one of the blockbuster films of that year. A few months ago, it was announced that Hrithik Roshan will be the leading hero of the film’s sequel WAR 2. Needless to say that, the fans became super excited after hearing the news. Adding as an icing on the cake was the addition of Jr NTR, who will be seen playing the parallel lead in the film. This furthermore elevated the happiness and excitement of the fans all over.

The latest update about NTR Jr is that he will start shooting for the film ‘WAR 2’ from March-April 2024, as per a source-based report in Pinkvilla. The report stated that, while Hrithik Roshan will be reprising his character of Kabir from WAR, the film’s sequel will be featuring Jr NTR in an extremely important role. The said report stated that, NTR Jr is presently busy with Siva Koratala's Devara, for which he has scheduled to wrap up the shooting by the third week of January 2024. And, as for Hrithik Roshan, he will be reportedly starting the film’s shooting of WAR 2 (which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji) from February next year.
Besides WAR 2 and Devara, NTR Jr also has film maker Prashant Neel’s next, which is tentatively titled NTR 31. And, as for Hrithik Roshan, he is presently extremely busy with his upcoming film Fighter, whose trailer was released a few days ago. Besides Hrithik (who will be seen in the role of Squadron leader Shamsher Patty Pathania, ‘Fighter’ also stars Deepika Padukone (who will be seen in the role of Squadron leader Minal "Minni" Rathore, Anil Kapoor (in the role of Group captain Rakesh Jai 'Rocky' Singh). Besides them, the film also stars Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and Sanjeeda Sheikh in important roles.
