As Agatha All Along comes to an end, a new revelation about WandaVision has left the internet in shock.
WandaVision Could Have Featured Doctor Strange
The world of WandaVision and everything that happened in the show has set off a cascade of events. A trilogy of series has been commissioned, which includes Agatha All Along and the upcoming Vision series. The show also served as a foundation for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and will impact the Young Avengers storyline, as Billy is here and far more powerful than anyone anticipated. So, in many ways, WandaVision has triggered significant developments in the MCU. Naturally, the studio considered various options to include in the show’s plot. What if we told you one of the planned post-credit scenes would have introduced Doctor Strange played by Benedict Cumberbatch, in a cameo?
Yes, you read that right. Jac Schaeffer, the showrunner for both WandaVision and Agatha All Along has been sharing insights into her corner of the MCU. While discussing WandaVision, she revealed that a post-credit scene almost brought Doctor Strange into the show. However, this scene was never filmed or included in the final series. During this conversation, Jac also addressed the possibility of a Scarlet Witch movie. Read on to learn more.
According to Comic Book Movie Jac Schaeffer described the WandaVision post-credit scene, saying, “Initially, Doctor Strange was going to appear in the tag for WandaVision. It’s Wanda sitting on the porch of that cabin, and she’s rocking peacefully. You know how Strange can create those magical circles around someone to teleport them? The circle starts around her, as if she’s going to be teleported somewhere, and she stops it, so Strange has to show up in person.”

“I just loved that so much—that Wanda would be like, ‘No, I’m not going to go where you want to teleport me. You’re going to have to come to my door,’” she continued. “It was a good one, but another tag took its place.”
Recently, rumors surfaced suggesting Scarlet Witch would return in Avengers: Doomsday setting up a solo Scarlet Witch movie. The rumor claims she would appear as an amnesiac ally to Doctor Doom in Doomsday, forming the basis for her solo film, which would pick up from where Agatha All Along left off. However, Jac Schaeffer is reportedly unaware of any developments on that front and isn’t associated with such a project.
When asked if a Scarlet Witch solo movie is in the works, Jac responded, “I know nothing of a Wanda movie; that’s what I can tell you.” She also confirmed there were never any plans to have Scarlet Witch appear in Agatha All Along.
