What is Voice of Sathyanathan about?
The plot revolves around Sathyanathan (Dileep), a furniture store owner who frequently lands in trouble due to his slip of the tongue. His wife, Susan (Veena), is an innocent rural woman living in a small world. Sathyanathan has ongoing issues with his neighbour, Thavala (Siddique). The film follows unexpected events in Sathyanathan's life, including his arrest for threatening the Indian President and his efforts to save the life of a convict named Balan (Joju George).
Overall, Voice of Sathyanathan delivers the expected comedic entertainment from the Raffi-Dileep duo. While touching on political themes, the movie mainly progresses through humorous scenes and emotional moments. The film's second half blends two storylines, finding its pace and becoming more gripping.
Dileep's performance is decent, although he portrays a character similar to his previous roles. Veena effectively portrays a wife who tolerates her husband's antics. Anupam Kher's cameo role as Indian President felt convincing. Siddique delivers the film's most humorous scenes, but Joju George stands out as the best performer.Joju's effortless portrayal of a man enduring great pain is one of the main highlights of the film.
