Kannada film Kantara, which has become a sensation, is winning the hearts of movie buffs across the country. The dubbed versions of the film are also running to packed houses, and have exceeded expectations. The Hindi version of the movie is inching closer to 20 crores at the box office, making it the fourth south Indian film to attract audiences this year after RRR, KGF 2 and Karthikeya 2.
Many celebs from different industries have been heaping praise on the movie directed by Rishab Shetty. Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is the latest to join the list of celebs who have been smitten by the film.
He took to his Twitter page to post a video in which he praised Kantara to the skies. According to him, the Sandalwood movie which is rooted in nature offered an unique experience and is full of art. The Kashmir Files director added that he has never watched a movie like this.
"Hats off to Rishab Shetty. You have done a great job. I'm gonna call you tomorrow. I had such a novel experience watching it, especially the climax of the film is something you have never experienced," he said.
Vivek urged everyone to watch the film and also said that the film is a masterpiece by Rishab Shetty. One of the finest films I have seen in a long time, he said with excitement and surprised everyone by saying that he might watch it again.
An elated Rishab thanked Vivek from his Twitter page. The movie has been impressing cinephiles in the US as well. A video of movie lovers thronging to a theatre in Toronto has been doing the rounds on social media.
