A young couple out to buy a house get trapped in an endless nightmare with seemingly no way out. The science fiction thriller, Vivarium has recently become available on OTT.

What is Vivarium about?

Vivarium revolves around the story of a young couple, Gemma and Tom, who decide to buy a house together. They are guided to a strange housing development by their equally peculiar real estate agent. They decide that the house they are shown is not to their liking and try to leave, only to realise that they are trapped in an endless neighbourhood of similar looking houses, unable to escape.

Just as they are about to give up all hope, a strange proposition is allotted to them in the form of a baby that is delivered to their new ‘home’. If they are able to raise the child to adulthood, they may be granted a way to get out.

Who are the cast and crew of Vivarium?

The film stars Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg in lead roles. The film also features Jonathan Aris, Eanna Hardwicke, Danielle Ryan and Senan Jennings.

The science fiction film is directed by Lorcan Finnegan, who has also written its script along with Garret Shanley.
