Telugu film Vivaha Bhojanambu, a lockdown comedy helmed by one-film-old director Ram Abbaraju starring Satya Akkala, Aarjavee Raaj and Srikanth Iyengar in pivotal roles, is finally arriving on SonyLIV on August 27. The film, marking the debut of Satya Akkala as a lead actor, skipped theatrical release and opted to land directly on the OTT platform a few weeks ago. Vivaha Bhojanambu faced multiple postponements with its OTT release but is gearing up for a release on the streamer this weekend.
The film, inspired by true events, revolves around the story of a couple, Mahesh and Ramya, that plans to marry amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Satya as Mahesh plays a miserly man from a middle-class family, whose life is in stark contrast with Ramya, who hails from a rich joint family. When Mahesh plans to organise their marriage amidst a few friends and family members, chaos prevails in his household. How will Mahesh stay sane in a house full of 14 people who need to stay together 21 days? Watch out for Vivaha Bhojanambu to know more.
Leading Telugu, Tamil actor Sundeep Kishan, who also makes a special appearance in the film, is producing it in collaboration with KS Sinish jointly under Soldiers Factory, Venkatadri Talkies and Anandi Arts. Anivee has scored the music for Vivaha Bhojanambu. The supporting cast of the film comprises Subbaraya Sharma, late TNR, Viva Harsha and Sudarshan. Vivaha Bhojanambu, apart from the original Telugu version, can be watched in Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada languages on August 27.
