Ravi Teja, who’ll be seen in Eagle for Sankranthi, has bankrolled Sundaram Master
Viva Harsha (Chemudu), who has had a dozen releases as an actor in films and the OTT space in 2023 - from Premadesam to Dead Pixels to Men Too, Month of Madhu and Bubblegum recently, is turning a lead actor with Sundaram Master. Kalyan Santhosh makes his directorial debut with the film. Divya Sripada plays the female lead in the comedy which has music by Sricharan Pakala.
Sundaram Master is jointly produced by the ‘Mass Maharaja’ Ravi Teja and Sudheer Kumar Kurru under RT Team Works and Goal Den Media. Commemorating the New Year, the makers of Sundaram Master confirmed the film’s release date today. The film will release in Telugu states on February 16, locking horns with Varun Tej’s aviation drama Operation Valentine.
Ravi Teja, making the official announcement, wrote, “Our #SundaramMaster is ready to take your attendance! Stooodents get reddie two geev attendance et thiyatars frum Feb 16th!” In a promo video shared by the team, Harsha is taking a roll call of various students from his makeshift school in a tribal region - some of their names include Konda, Saddi, Gunapam (pun intended).
Deepak Yaragera is the cinematographer for the film, while Karthik Vunnava is the editor. Chandra Mouli Eathalapaka is the art director with Srihitha Kotagiri and Raja Sekhar handling costumes. Hemanth Kurru is the executive producer and Swetha Kakarlapudi, Shalini Nambu are the creative producers, respectively. Vijay Binni has choreographed the songs in the film.
Before Sundaram Master, Ravi Teja also produced a small-budget film Changure Bangaru Raja, directed by Satish Varma, headlined by Karthik Rathnam, Ravi Babu, Satya and others. He was also the co-producer for Ravanasura (in collaboration with Abhishek Pictures). As an actor, he awaits the release of Eagle for Sankranthi and is now filming for Mr Bachchan, directed by Harish Shankar.
