Vishnu Vishal comes up with another sports drama; his next, Gatta Kusthi, is based on wrestling

It was announced earlier today that Ravi Teja and Vishnu Vishal are teaming up for a movie and that the details will be announced sometime. The two stars have now taken to their Twitter accounts to reveal the much-awaited update. Vishnu will be playing the lead in Gatta Kusthi which is jointly bankrolled by the duo under RT Teamworks and Vishnu Vishal Studioz.

Chella Ayyavu, with whom Vishnu had teamed up for Silukkuvarupatti Singam, is at the helm of the project which is based on wrestling. The movie will be released in Telugu as Matti Kusthi.

The makers have unveiled a motion poster of the film which has details of some of the technicians associated with it. Justin Prabhakaran has roped in to compose music for Gatta Kusthi which has action choreography by Anbariv. Richard M Nathan and Prasanna GK have come on board for handling cinematography and editing respectively. Umesh J Kumar is at the helm of art direction.

Ravi Teja and Vishnu had joined hands for FIR which was released in February. The former had distributed the movie in Telugu under the same title which had the latter playing the lead.

This is the third sports drama for Vishnu who had already attempted Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu and Jeeva which were based on kabaddi and cricket respectively. Earlier today, Vishnu asked his followers on Twitter whether they would love to see him do another sports-based film, thus hinting at the genre of Gatta Kusthi.

Movie lovers are now looking forward to the announcement on the details regarding the movie's cast. The actor currently has Mohandas in his kitty. It is expected to be released in theatres this year. A sequel to Indru Netru Naalai is another project of his which is likely to happen.
