Vishal shoots for 24 hours straight for Laththi; wraps up a crucial schedule of the action thriller

Directed by debutant A Vinothkumar, the film has Sunainaa playing the female lead in it

The shooting of Vishal's Laththi being directed by A Vinothkumar, commenced a few months ago. The actor-producer has now took to Twitter to announce that he has wrapped up the project's second schedule and that the team worked for straight 24 hours. He also added that the crew will head for its next schedule at Hyderabad for a high octane stunt scene to be helmed by action choreographer Peter Hein.

His tweet read, "Annnnnd it’s a WRAP for the 2nd schedule of #LATHTHI. Unbelievable!!! Shot for 24hrs on the final day with our LATHTHI team. Heading to Hyderabad for the 3rd schedule to film 40 days high octane stunt sequence choreographed by Peter Hein..(sic)."

Vishal also posted a short video along with the tweet in which the crew members are seen wrapping up the schedule followed by a ceremony. They are also seen posing for photos in the video. Vishal is seen sporting a moustache without a beard after a long time for the cop's character in the movie.

He plays S Muruganantham, an upright cop and Sunainaa essays the female lead in the action thriller. Produced by Ramana and Nandaa's production house, Laththi has music composed by Sam CS and M Balasubramaniem cranking the camera.

Meanwhile, his Veeramae Vaagai Soodum directed by Thu Pa Saravanan, will hit the screens on January 26. The movie has Dimple Hayathi playing his romantic interest. The movie will release in Telugu with the title Saamanyudu.

Last seen in Enemy the OTT release of which is expected to be out soon, he will begin the shooting of his directorial debut, Thupparivaalan 2 in April.
