After fans expressed concern over Vishal’s health, who seemed to be not doing well at the pre-release event of his upcoming film Madha Gaja Raja, the actor’s doctor gave out a clarification that he is suffering from viral fever and that there is nothing to worry about.

Vishal’s health update

Vishal’s film Madha Gaja Raja which has been in the can for several years, is finally going to see daylight this Pongal. The film which has been waiting for release for almost 13 years, is going to release on January 12. Ahead of this, the makers conducted a pre-release event on Sunday, January 5.

Vishal, who attended the event, looked visibly different and weak. The actor who spoke on stage did not look well with his hands shivering. This got scores of fans worried about his health, as Vishal is someone who is a physically strong and action-oriented hero.

While this snowballed into a social media topic of discussion, the actor's doctor clarified that he is suffering from viral fever and is advised to undergo treatment and complete bed rest. Some netizens also hailed the actor’s dedication to showing up for the event, despite his illness.

Madha Gaja Raja release date

Helmed by filmmaker Sundar C, Madha Gaja Raja release on January 12. It is touted to be a commercial entertainer and has music by Vijay Antony. It is produced by Gemini Film Circuit. Madha Gaja Raja is the third collaboration between Vishal and Sundar C, after Aambala and Action.

Vishal, Anjali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Santhanam, Sonu Sood, Manivannan, Prakash Raj, Nithin Sathya, and Sadagopan Ramesh are part of the film. Madha Gaja Raja is one of the Tamil films slated for Pongal release.

Fans are excited about the release of the film, which was made a decade ago. It was the time when Santhanam had not become a lead actor.
