Debutant A Vinoth Kumar's Laththi, starring Vishal in the lead, has been announced as a theatrical release on August 12. Though its makers had revealed a while ago that the team had wrapped up the shooting, it looks like a few more portions are left.

Vishal took to his Twitter page to post a video from the location where the crew is busy shooting for an action sequence. Stunt choreographer Peter Hein is seen instructing others and suggesting some intense moves for the crucial scene, which according to the star's tweet, will be his introduction fight sequence in the movie.

Vishal, who is seen clad in a cop's uniform, listens to Peter's instructions and coordinates with the crew members. Later, the actor came up with a new post from his Twitter page which has him in a ripped avatar. The picture has been clicked earlier today after his morning workout session.

He tweeted, "Rise and grind. My early morning workout sessions at 5.30 am. Gearing up for the last fight sequence schedule of #Laththi (sic)," along with hashtags like #NoSubstituteForHardWork, #StayHealthy, #StayFit and #NoPainNoGain.

His last release Veeramae Vaagai Soodum (streaming on Zee5) which was released in theatres earlier this year had him essay the role of an aspiring cop while Laththi will have him play the character of a police constable who goes through unheard struggles.

Sunainaa plays the female lead in the movie which has been bankrolled by Ramana and Nandaa under Rana Production. Balasubramaniem handles cinematography for the action thriller which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Vishal's next projects are Adhik Ravichandran's Mark Antony and the much-awaited sequel to investigative thriller Thupparivaalan which marks the former's directorial debut.
