Priya Bhavani Shankar had played the leading lady in Hari's previous venture, Yaanai, which had Arun Vijay in the lead
It's official! Priya Bhavani Shankar is the leading lady for Vishal's next with director Hari, which is tentatively being referred to as Vishal 34. The film's production house made the announcement on their social media handle along with a poster. They wrote, "Announcing our leading lady! @priya_Bshankar comes onboard #Vishal34 (sic). The shoot for the film began on July 15 and the makers announced the project as a massive action entertainer, something which director Hari is known for.
Vishal 34 is bankrolled by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films and Zee Studios. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Vishal had recently shared a poster, in which he is seen in a silhouette and a sickle dangling from a stethoscope on his side. Director Hari is known for his fast-paced action films in which his lead actors are mostly angry young men, who take on their nemesis as if it's a cakewalk for them. It looks Vishal 34 will follow suit.
This is Vishal's third project with Hari after Thaamirabharani (2007) and Poojai (2014). Taking to his social media handle, Vishal wrote, "Delighted & Pumped up to be part of this ! My 3rd combination with Director Hari. Looking forward to create the same magic as before & making it a special treat for audiences worldwide. #Vishal34 - Shoot from today! #ProductionNo14 #Hari (sic)."
The team is expected to make more announcements about the cast and crew at the earliest as the shoot has already begun.
