The latest we hear is that music composer Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music. Vishal, today, dropped a brand new poster of the film, in which he is seen in a silhouette and a sickle is seen dangling from a stethoscope on the other side, with blood trickling from it. Vishal 34 is bankrolled by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films and Zee Studios. The film’s announcement poster, too, carried pictures of knives, daggers, handcuffs and guns. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced.
In the meantime, Vishal is awaiting the release of Adhik Ravichandran’s Mark Antony, in which he shares screen space with SJ Suryah. The film revolves around the concept of time travel and it looks like both Vishal and SJ Suryah travel in time using a phone. The film has Ritu Varma playing the leading lady and the supporting cast includes Sunil, Selvaraghavan, Abhinaya, Kingsley and YG Mahendran.
Mark Antony will have some heavy-duty action sequences and is slated to hit screens on the occasion of Vinayakar Chaturthi (September 15). Since his last project Laththi, opened to negative reviews, expectations are high from Mark Antony.
Hari’s last outing, on the other hand, was Arun Vijay’s Yaanai, which marked the maiden collaboration between the brother-in-laws. The film, which was set in the Ramanathapuram district, opened to predominantly positive reviews.
