Virupaksha locks its OTT release, here's when and where to watch the action thriller

Virupaksha starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon in lead roles and was co-produced by BVSN Prasad and Pushpa director Sukumar on his Sukumar Writings banner. The suspense thriller which was released on the 21st of April 2023 has now grossed over 75 crores at the box office and the producers will end up making double their investments.

We at OTTplay had already reported that the OTT release of the film will happen in the last week of May. Well, we have now come to know that the digital release will most likely happen on the 21st of this month. Netflix has bought the OTT rights to this film for a whopping price. The film is a thriller and was also released in Hindi on the 5th of May.

Noted director, Sukumar contributed with the script part and he provided the screenplay for the film which was one of the biggest highlights of Virupaksha. Sukumar has personally pocketed six crores with this film. As he is making big money with Virupaksha and Pushpa 2, the IT official even raided his office a few days back.

The film has been directed by Karthik Dandu and has music by Ajaneesh Lokanth of Kantara fame. The BGM has come in for massive applause from one and all. The film's leading lady, Samyuktha Menon won solid applause for the film and her performance in the climax is a special attraction. Sai Dharam has scored a hit after a long time and Virupaksha is his career's biggest hit so far.
